Qualification goals
Students are expected to earn basic and fundamental knowledge in macroeconomics. They should acquire knowledge about the concepts and methods of national accounting and aggregate economic interactions. Upon accomplishing the class students will be able to apply these methods and concepts for answering specific macroeconomic questions.
Contents
Foundations of macroeconomics, in particular national accounting, aggregate demand and supply, general equilibrium and economic growth. Topics of international finance, government budgets, inflation and unemployment.
