We welcome Marieke Baaken as a new member in our team.

Since 01/01/2023 Marieke Baaken supports our team as a research associate (postdoc).

Marieke Baaken describes her work as follows:

During my work as a postdoctoral researcher at IUSF, I am investigating different dimensions and key factors of the global transition towards an environmentally sustainable world.

The main goal of my research is to contribute to greater environmental and social sustainability by gaining a deeper understanding of the decision-making and behavior of political, economic, and social actors, as well as by investigating, identifying, and testing efficient and innovative (behavioral) policy instruments.

In particular, my research focuses on farmer decision-making and behavioral economics for (a more) sustainable agriculture.
