From the 12th to the 18th of November, the world’s leading trade fair for agricultural machinery AGRITECHNICA took place in Hannover with 470,000 visitors from 149 countries. The guiding theme of AGRITECHNICA 2023 was GREEN PRODUCTIVITY, showcasing ideas increasing a more sustainable use of natural resources in agriculture. Numerous manufacturers of farm machinery as well as (international) experts from industry and science presented their products and innovations on site. Gabi Waldhof, Marieke Baaken, Moritz Fritschle, and Thomas Rellensmann from the Environmental Economics department were among the visitors this year to catch up on the latest product innovations and current trends in agriculture.
